But at the same time, I’m such a slow knitter that the idea of pulling this sweater apart is crushing my soul. I’m so tempted to pull the whole thing apart and start again. I know that 95% or more of the people who see it will not notice the difference, but I will. I did a few rows the correct way and to me it’s super noticeable. And it made me second guess what I was doing so I checked out some videos, and sure enough, I’ve been doing it wrong all along, including for half of this sweater. And it was going great until I saw another post here on Reddit that mentioned the wrap direction of knit stitches. I’ve made significant progress in my knitting journey these last few months so I decided to tackle a sweater for my toddler. But every few years I pick up knitting again because I like knitting so much more for socks and other items of clothing. I’m primary a crocheter, but I learned to knit at the same time, but I just didn’t connect with knitting the same way.
